Spirometry is the most common of the pulmonary function tests. We are equipped with a Spirometer which is used to help diagnose and monitor certain lung conditions by measuring how much air you can breathe out in one forced breath. It measures lung function, specifically the amount and/or speed of air that can be inhaled and exhaled. Spirometry is helpful in assessing breathing patterns that identify conditions such as asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, cystic fibrosis, and Chronic obstructive airways disease (COPD). The pattern of breathing is recorded in form of graphs which is interpreted by a specialist doctor. Spirometry tests are by appointments only
